Responsibilities :
- Liaise with clients and consultants to determine project scope under the supervision of a Senior Engineer / Designer.
- Document and communicate project scope to in-house design team members.
- Coordinate electrical requirements with senior mechanical engineers / designers.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, interior designers, and other consultants.
- Prepare drawings using office CAD systems.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and applicable codes.
- Participate in design review meetings and construction administration.
- Perform load calculations, detailed design layouts, and review project documentation.
- Obtain stamps and signatures from the signing engineer.
- Assist seniors in monitoring and controlling project costs.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Technology or a similar field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building services.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and / or Revit (5+ years required).
- Valid PSPC Security Clearance or ability to obtain it.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of Acts, Codes, and Engineering Practices.
- Proficiency in tools, methods, techniques, and practices of the industry.
