Maintenance Supervisor

Our client in the auto manufacturing space is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor on a fulltime / perm basis Leads and supervises skilled trades to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant and production equipment while driving uptime, quality, and continuous improvement.

Location : Belleville - on site

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support millwrights, electricians, welders, and apprentices across multiple shifts
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime through preventative maintenance, repairs, and proactive problem solving
• Enforce all safety policies, conduct incident investigations, and drive corrective actions
• Coordinate internal maintenance activities and external contractors for equipment and facility repairs
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and reliability best practices
• Track maintenance performance metrics and implement action plans to improve efficiency and quality
• Maintain maintenance records, timekeeping, and overtime requirements
• Provide technical support to cross-functional teams and Manufacturing Engineering
• Support new equipment reviews, vendor visits, and equipment standardization efforts
• Lead department meetings, employee performance reviews, and development activities
