About the team :

Software Engineering Application Technology Lab, part of the Waterloo Research Centre, focuses on breakthroughs in intelligent software engineering, developing capabilities in software asset management, analysis, design, development, and verification. The team researches basic theories and cutting-edge technologies to advance software engineering.

About the job :

Design and implement research protocols for next-generation intelligent software development.
Investigate new technology trends and enhance Huawei's LLM4SE capabilities by adopting industry-leading technologies, tools, standards, and innovations.
Collaborate with researchers and product teams to integrate solutions into products.
Publish research papers and patent inventions.

Job requirements :

2+ years R&D experience in Java / Python / C / C++, with understanding of ML / DL algorithms and experimental design.

Ability to apply research to real-world problems on prototypes.

MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.

Experience with static / dynamic program analysis.

Understanding of LLM4SE and best practices.

Self-motivated, team-oriented with strong communication skills.
