Int. Technical Lead with AWS, Java, and Angular experience to join our banking client

Location : Hybrid - [2 days a week in DT Toronto office

Duration : 6 months with potential conversion to FT

About the Role

We are seeking an Intermediate Technical Lead with 5+ years of experience to join our team at a leading banking institution. This role requires a strong background in AWS, Java, and Angular to lead development teams in delivering innovative banking solutions. The successful candidate will have a blend of technical leadership and hands-on development experience, with a focus on cloud-based, full-stack solutions.

Must haves :

  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend development
  • Experience with Angular for front-end development
  • Expertise in full-stack development, from designing RESTful APIs to implementing responsive UIs

Nice-to-Have

  • Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a development team in designing, developing, and deploying banking applications using AWS, Java, and Angular
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and QA, to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards
  • Drive the architecture and design decisions to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure applications
  • Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and automated deployment processes
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in technology and banking to bring innovative ideas to the team
