Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist based in Mill Bay, BC. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications, providing expert advice to customers on medications and health concerns, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include assessing and reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, managing prescriptions refills, and supervising pharmacy staff. They will also deliver exemplary customer service by offering information on overall health and wellness and maintaining strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with current registration in good standing with relevant provincial regulatory authority
• Proficiency in medication dispensing and understanding prescription guidelines
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and adherence to confidentiality and compliance standards
• Experience in inventory management and supporting pharmacy operations
• Working knowledge of pharmacy software systems
• Bachelor of Pharmacy or related degree; completion of practical training or relevant certification required
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
