Our team in Edmonton North is currently looking for a Commercial Administrator to become an integral part of the team.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Answer and direct calls and emails for the Commercial Sales department, ensuring timely responses and directing inquiries to the appropriate team member.
  • Manage incoming opportunities / requests for quote and ensure they are assigned to estimators.
  • Communicate internally with estimators and other team members to evenly distribute workload and ensure quote delivery within necessary deadlines.
  • Keep customers informed about delivery dates and potential delays, maintaining active communication to manage expectations effectively.
  • Maintain an open project log, understanding the queue, and promptly alerting the team about any backlogs.
  • Contribute to overall customer satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries and providing solutions for non-technical questions.
  • Assist Senior Management by maintaining organized sales records and reports.
  • Attend relevant product training sessions to gain a comprehensive understanding of the commercial department's products and services.
  • Conduct initial investigations into customer complaints under the guidance of the Regional Manager.
  • Perform any other relevant or administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Qualification / Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of customer service experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a sales or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of commercial sales processes and procedures preferred.
  • Additional Requirements :
