Provider File Processor

Job Description

The main function of the Provider File Processor is to process provider referrals within time service and achieve quality standards.

Accountabilities :

• Process Workflow and webform referrals following established guidelines
• Validate provider eligibility according to set protocols: this will require additional investigation including telephone contact with providers and/or appropriate Regulatory bodies and Associations
• Ensure provider eligibility and information is maintained on the provider database

Qualifications and Competencies :

• Strong keyboarding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
• Well-developed customer service skills, demonstrated through speaking with internal and external clients
• Strong organizational skill
• Able to maintain a quick pace while providing accurate results
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word would be an asset
• Bilingual French/English is an asset
