Heavy Construction Equipment Service Technician Toronto

Are you a skilled Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic with 5+ years of experience and a 421A certification ?

Join our team and contribute to our service department's success in providing top-notch maintenance and repairs to a variety of heavy construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform assembly and disassembly of components and accessories on industry-leading heavy construction equipment, including hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and structural components.
  • Machine and fabricate steel components for cutting-edge heavy construction equipment.
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic testing to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Write detailed service reports, order necessary parts, and maintain accurate records.
  • Safely operate heavy equipment and tools such as forklifts, overhead cranes, power grinders, and welding / cutting tools.

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of experience as a Heavy Construction Equipment Technician with valid 421A certification.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems, electrical components, power trains, and diesel engines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
