332 / 12 : Building Code P r o v i de g r o u n d s m a i nte n a n c e , i nc l u di ng f l o w er b e ds and l a w n ca re / maintenance A ss i st w i t h f ac ili t y prob l e m d i a g n o s i s a n d so l uti o n s M a i nta i n C o u n t y vehicle, e q u i p m e n t a n d t o ol s i n g o o d / s a f e w or k i n g co n d i t i o n Maintain detailed daily logs Performs general cleaning and maintenance duties Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping Lift, handle and carry equipment, supplies, and materials Ensure that Occupational Health and Safety practices and County of Perth policies and procedures are adhered to; wear any personal protective equipment required to ensure personal safety and report any known hazards and / or incidents in the workplace to immediate Supervisor Ot h e r d u t i es as ass i g n e d Qualifications : Class “G” driver’s license with a clean driver abstract Demonstrated interest in facilities management or related field Experience performing general cleaning, painting, maintenance (indoor and outdoor) tasks effectively and efficiently Experience following safety protocols and work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act Excellent customer service skills Solid organizational and time management skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Reliable, punctual and the ability to work independently Working at heights and elevated work platform training is considered an asset   Shift : Monday to Thursday, 7 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm and Friday 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm (44 hours per week)   Hourly Rate : $18.73   Those interested may submit their application online at www.perthcounty.ca / employment by February 24, 2026 at 4 : 30 pm.
