A career as a Paralegal on the National Bank Investments (NBI) Team means becoming a specialist supporting the evolution of wealth management. This role allows you to make a positive impact by leveraging your technical expertise to ensure compliance and efficiency in legal and regulatory activities within the context of National Bank's investment fund manufacturing and distribution operations.

Your Role

  • Participate in the preparation of documents related to the renewal of investment funds, including the prospectus and fund fact sheets.
  • Draft and follow up on various corporate and regulatory documents.
  • File documents with regulatory authorities.
  • Update and maintain databases.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to gather data and information.
  • Suggest innovative ideas to improve the quality of services, systems, and processes while ensuring follow-up on files under your responsibility.

Requirements

  • A college diploma in paralegal technology or equivalent, with three years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and strong computer skills.
  • Knowledge of DocuSign is an asset.
  • Attention to detail, rigor, autonomy, and initiative.
  • Knowledge of wealth management products is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Capacity to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Curiosity and effective collaboration.
  • Languages : English, French Reason to require this language : you will need to discuss frequently with our service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
