MaKami College is a public post‑secondary college located in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta, with over 20 years of experience helping students through in‑person, online, and blended programs such as Massage Therapy, Health Care Aide, Business Administrative Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, and more.

About the Role

MaKami College is launching a new English as an Additional Language (ELL) program and is looking for dedicated part‑time instructors. The position may transition to full‑time.

Position Details

Title : ELL Instructor
Type : Part‑Time (potential to transition to Full‑Time)
Location : On Campus at MaKami College
Start Date : January 2026

Responsibilities & Schedule

Teach ELL classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday : 8 : 30 AM – 3 : 30 PM and Saturday : 8 AM – 4 : 30 PM.

Prepare lesson plans and materials – approximately 7 hours per week (flexible).

Deliver instruction and assess student progress.

Support and mentor diverse learners.

Qualifications

Minimum CELPIP Level 1 Instructor Certification (Level 2 is a strong asset).

At least 3 years of teaching experience.

A genuine passion for education and supporting diverse learners.
