Job description

THE ROLE :

Commissionaires NL is seeking a Contract Specialist to manage, develop and oversee CNL’s existing and potential security contracts. This position requires thorough understanding of contract management which includes contract formation, terms and conditions, contract law and contract administration.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Prepare RFP and contractual documents for security bids, ensuring completeness, proper formatting, and proofing.
  • Prepare documentation for contract negotiations with new and existing clients. Presenting documentation to executive team.
  • Maintain a database of all agreements and contracts with expiration and renewal dates.
  • Monitoring and reporting on contractual requirement status to executive team on an ongoing basis.
  • Conduct reviews of existing contracts for updates in language or other potential updates required.
  • Adding improvements to existing CNL contract policies to ensure compliance and reduce any potential risks.
  • Seek new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • WHO WE’RE SEEKING

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :

  • Completion of a related undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Pervious Procurement experience is required for this position.
  • Experience with Government Contracts an asset.
  • Experience working in similar role within the Security Industry would be an asset.
  • Be professional, reliable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills required.
  • Be able to obtain a Government of Canada Clearance.
  • Be able to obtain clear police conduct.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
