Job Title : Quality Control TechnicianGroup Name : Custom Contract ManufacturingLocation : Moncton, New BrunswickPosition Overview : Are you looking to be part of a growing and developing team in an organization that values its people, customers, work, and supply chain?

If so, APEX is currently accepting applications for a Quality Control Technician within its Custom Contract Manufacturing Group.

This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager.The position is accountable for in-process quality monitoring and quality control activities.

In this role you will interact with the production team, front line supervisors, and office staff to ensure compliance is achieved.

Some weekend work or overtime may be required, and training will be provided.Responsibilities : Perform incoming, in-process and final quality inspections including, but not limited to dimensional inspection, visual inspection, and document inspections using established procedures.

Assist with the development and adherence to the Quality Assurance procedures and processes.Identify and document Q.C. deficiencies.

Lead and / or participate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.Maintain Quality Control / Assurance records.

Initiate and participate in quality investigations and studies to support corrective actions and failure analysis.Maintain and support the calibration of tools and equipment per established program.

Participate in process improvements.Other job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications : Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings.Understanding of GD&T principles.Experience using inspection equipment (tooling / gages).

Experience involving the application of applied quality control concepts.Very comfortable using computers and MS Word / Excel and Power Point.

Ability to use or learn to use 3D CAD software (i.e. Catia, Solid Works, Auto Cad etc.).Highly motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.Efficient problem solver and decision maker.CMM or portable 3D measurement arm experience is considered an asset.
