Job description

We’re Hiring : Director of Business Development

Location : Markham, Ontario (On-site)

Ionada is scaling climate solutions globally—and we’re looking for a strategic, drivenDirector of Business Developmentto lead the charge. This high-impact role reports directly to the CEO and is central to our commercial growth.

What You’ll Do :

Develop and execute our business development roadmap
Build strategic partnerships across energy, manufacturing, and carbon markets
Lead deal negotiations and structure commercial agreements
Collaborate with product, engineering, and policy teams
Represent Ionada at industry events and in the media

What We’re Looking For :

8+ years in business development, partnerships, or commercial strategy

Experience in climate tech, energy, or deep tech sectors

Strong understanding of carbon markets and sustainability frameworks

Proven track record of closing complex deals and driving growth

Passion for climate innovation and mission-driven work
