Job Title : Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a cross-dock facility. This role involves handling the loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring counts are accurate, and maintaining the organization.

Pay rate $20 / hour

Responsibilities

• Load outbound trailers accurately.
• Unload inbound trailers efficiently.
• Hand-bomb loose boxes off trailers when required.
• Load city trailers in order and with proper freight counts.
• Unload city trailers, confirm freight counts, cube all freight, and put in the proper location.
• Use a handheld scanner for inventory management.
• Follow directions given by dispatchers and clean the dock, including emptying garbage each shift.
• Conduct a pre-trip inspection of the forklift before each use.
