Nanny

A caring and responsible family in Markham, Ontario is seeking an experienced Home Child Care Provider / Nanny to look after two children : a 7-year-old and a 6-month-old infant. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in the family’s home.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and provide attentive care to the children in the home

Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks

Attend to the infant’s daily needs, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and dressing

Support the older child with homework and daily routines

Plan and lead age-appropriate learning and recreational activities

Maintain a tidy and safe environment, including light housekeeping related to the children

Qualifications & Requirements

Completion of secondary school is required

Prior experience in child care is preferred

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred

Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Criminal record check including vulnerable sector check required before employment

Fluency in Tagalog considered an asset

Work Environment

Private residence in Markham

Non-smoking household

Public transportation accessible

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay : $25 / hour (32 hours per week)

4% vacation pay

CPP and EI contributions as required by law
