We are currently accepting applications for a Bookkeeper (up to 15 hours a week).

Position Profile

  • Maintain accounting system using QuickBooks; sales summaries, invoices and donations
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Administer all aspects of payroll for employees including issuance of government remittances and WSIB.
  • Oversee the tracking of E-waste, recycled metals and battery way-bills, Prepare monthly report of recycled material statistics
  • Data entry on various databases (golf tournament, GIK)

Desired Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary training in Bookkeeping an asset
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or relevant experience, familiarity with the general principles of accounting
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks a definite asset
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and Word
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task
  • Proven track record in consistently producing high quality, accurate work and meeting deadlines
