We’re looking for a Mobile Product Designer to join our team of humble “misfits that fit”.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Procurify is looking for a Mobile Product Designer with a breadth of experience in shaping mobile apps through user research, prototyping, user experience and interaction design for iOS and Android platforms.

You are a person with a knack for unpacking customer needs, even the unarticulated one, to build mobile products that people want to use.

What you’ll be working on

• Play an integral role in identifying the right business problems to solve and delivering the right solutions to customers with measurable outcomes.
• Create diagrams, user journeys, and mockups of features serving different user segments.
• Design intuitive, user friendly interfaces for iOS and Android platforms.
• Work with our mobile engineering team lead and our mobile product manager to articulate a mobile product vision for Procurify
• Be an expert on our customers and be a vigorous advocate for them across the company.
• Gather qualitative and quantitative user data by conducting surveys, user interviews, usability testing, and analysis.
• Analyze existing app usage data to develop insights into user behavior and preferences, and trends.
• Create, maintain and apply a mobile design system and ensure design consistency across the product ecosystem.
• Benchmark and analyze competitor and industry-leading mobile experiences to ensure our mobile platform sets industry standards.
• Use and leverage metrics to drive product design and measure product success.
• Be a thought-partner and collaborate with mobile developers, as well as the product manager to implement innovative and impactful solutions.
• Participate in design team rituals and contribute to the design culture.
• Recommend industry practices and tools for the success of mobile design.
• Join annual hackathons and immerse yourself in all things fintech innovation.

Who we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience designing mobile apps for iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience in using UX and UI best practices to design high quality mobile experiences.
• Understanding of platform guidelines (like Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines for iOS and Google’s Material Design for Android).
• Experience creating and maintaining a mobile design system with consideration for principles, patterns, conventions on mobile devices.
• Strong understanding of the unique capabilities and limitations on Mobile (for example limited screen space, variable connectivity, camera, voice etc)
• Experience in using research and data driven decision making for projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A mobile portfolio showing UX problem solving and visually rich interfaces.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across a company, particularly with Product Managers and Engineers.
• Experience prototyping and testing mobile interactions with users.
• Humility plus strong opinions that are loosely held.

• Base Salary Range: $92,000 - $115,000 (This range is dependent on experience and not inclusive of any bonus, commission, benefits or equity that might exist in your total compensation package.)
