Job description

MaxSys Staffing & Consulting is looking to hire a Full Time Heavy-Duty 310T Mechanic in Vaughan, located near Langstaff / Creditstone. This position will have you work on a fleet of garbage trucks for a very successful waste management company. The Heavy-Duty Mechanic will work directly with the Maintenance Manager to ensure that all vehicles meet all provincial regulations and standards, and WCC safety standards.

This is a FULL TIME, PERMANENT opportunity only. NO STUDENTS.

MUST PASS CRIMINAL RECORD BACKGROUND CHECK

NO CASH, SIN ONLY

Salary : $39.21 / hour + $3 / hour shift premium ($42.21 / hour)

Shift : Afternoons, Monday to Friday, 12pm to 9 : 30pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITES :

Hydraulics / brakes repair
Minor engine repair
Preventative maintenance
Responsible for maintaining equipment and vehicles in a safe and working order
Ensure vehicles meet provincial safety regulations and standards

Job Requirements :

EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATIONS

310T LICENCE (MANDATORY)

2-3 years of verifiable Diesel Truck / Heavy Equipment experience

Solid knowledge of Air Brakes and Hydraulics repair

A and B Services experience

Computer diagnostic experience would be an asset.

Must be able to pass all pre-employment tests
