What is PaintScout?

PaintScout is an industry-leading estimation and sales management software for painting contractors. Our small but mighty team is based in Calgary, AB, and serves painting contractors throughout North America. As a Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the design and functionality of the software.

About the Role

Are you passionate about crafting exceptional user experiences? We’re looking for a Product Designer to oversee the design process from concept to launch. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our product is not only visually stunning but also meets user needs and business goals. You’ll shape the product’s direction, streamline the design process, and use data to create intuitive, user-friendly designs. This is a key position where your contributions will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and the overall success of the product.

What You’ll Do :

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Marketing to define, and deliver impactful features
• Design end-to-end product experiences, from early concepts to polished, production-ready designs
• Translate user needs, product requirements, and business goals into thoughtful design solutions
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability
• Advocate for user-centered design decisions across the organization
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices, and bring new ideas and approaches to the team
