Our client is a leading manufacturer of electric submersible pumps. With a reputation for innovative solutions and excellence, they offer a dynamic environment for success.

Based on growth, they are seeking to fill the position of Senior Account Manager in Calgary. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to drive sales strategies and forge a high-performing sales team.

Basic Functions

As the Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for productive, professional relationships and maintaining your client base to meet your assigned sales targets, identifying new business opportunities within the territory, developing strategies to expand market share, and driving revenue growth in the domestic market, primarily the Province of Alberta.

Reporting to the CEO, the sales focus will be primarily directed toward End Users, Distribution Partners, and OEMs, throughout Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, Lead, and mentor the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market presence.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with business objectives.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and address customer’s needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Complete strategic customer account plans.
  • Negotiate terms of sale within authority limits.
  • Meet with new and existing client base to maintain and expand business relationships.
  • Stay abreast of current products, features, industry, and company standards.

Requirements

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma from an Engineering discipline and / or 3-5 Years of experience in a Sales environment is a minimal requirement.
  • Proven track record in sales leadership, preferably within the energy and pump manufacturing sectors an asset.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with artificial lift and additional experience with Pumps / Motors and Industrial Sales will be added advantage.
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity.
  • Client negotiation and relationship management.
  • Client focused motivated team player possessing a strong desire to succeed.
  • Proficiency in CRM & MS Office software.
  • Excellent presentation skills.

Remuneration

Remuneration for this position will consists of a base salary between $90-125K commensurate upon experience. The position will also include commission component as well as automobile allowance, full benefit program as well as RRSP matching.
