Position Overview:

Target Land Surveying has an opening for a Survey Assistant based in the Langley/Surrey area. You will have the chance to work on different types of projects and grow your career through participation in our training and development programs.

General Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate survey equipment including GPS, total stations, locators, and more.
• Performs legal and construction surveys under the direction of the party chief.
• Communicates effectively with client representatives and colleagues.
• Assists the Survey Party Chief with field notes, measurements, and other documentation as required.
• Operates survey equipment, tools & vehicles in a safe manner and performs duties as identified in the company's HSE program.

Qualifications:

• ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - Related experience preferred but not essential.
• Geomatics diploma or degree an asset
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract
• Valid safety certificates are an asset (First Aid/CPR, CSTS).
• Candidate must pass a Fit for Duty test.

Wage Range: $19.00-23.00 per hour based on experience and education.
