ABOUT THE POSITION
- Coordinate all the manpower, materials and trade contractors for assigned project.
- Ensure that required tools, materials and equipment are available for completion of project.
- Promote and enforce trades and subcontractors compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
- Maintain liaison with other departments (i.e., material control, purchasing, quality control, engineering) to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections support trade activities and project schedule.
- Mentor all site staff as it relates to company policies, procedures and work requirements.
- Conduct and / or direct project safety meetings.
- Supervise foremen assigned to area of responsibility and provide liaison between field engineering, estimating and trades to ensure compliance of construction with drawings and specifications
THE REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years experience with earthworks and underground utilities
- Experience with underground structures and piping
- 5+ years as a Civil Foreman
- Exceptional communication skills
- Understand OH&S safe work practices and procedures
COMPENSATION
- $45 $50 per hour depending on experience
- 3 weeks vacation
