What you will do :

As a Barback you will play a key role in ensuring that the bar runs smoothly by supporting our bartenders maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area and providing an excellent guest experience. Youll work alongside a dedicated team to help create a fun and inviting atmosphere for all patrons. You will perform guest service duties in a friendly and professional manner at all times and ensure that the guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the proper setting of tables removing used dishes and place settings assisting with cleaning duties and comply with all restaurant policies and procedures.

Job Duties :

• Assist Bartenders : Replenish stock prepare garnishes restock glassware and ensure bartenders have everything they need to serve guests quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain Cleanliness : Keep the bar area clean organized and stocked throughout the shift. This includes wiping down surfaces cleaning glasses and removing empty bottles and trash.
• Stock Management : Restock liquor beer wine and other supplies as needed. Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock to the bar manager.
• Customer Service : Provide friendly professional and timely service to guests when needed assisting with any minor requests or needs.
• Support Cocktail Preparation : Help prepare and deliver drinks for guests when necessary ensuring quality standards.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with bartenders and other staff to ensure a smooth efficient workflow during high-volume periods.
• At all times to be aware of and practice good guest service assisting the guest in any way which does not adversely affect other guests.
• Attend to guest complaints satisfactorily.
• Take part in any fire or evacuation drills and ensure complete familiarization with all exits including those normally used by guests as well as fire escapes.
• Carry out on-the-job training to ensure subordinate staff can carry out their duties effectively.
• Be continually aware of and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress.
• Ensure that any subordinate staff adhere to and maintain the highest possible standards of personal hygiene and dress.
• Attend meetings and training courses as required.
• Any other duties as assigned.
• Follow Health Food Safe and Liquor service guidelines.
