Intermediate ServiceNow Developer to implement and administer new modules for ITSM, ITOM, ITAM for a healthcare client

Our valued healthcare client is seeking an Intermediate ServiceNow Developer to implement and administer new modules for ITSM, ITOM, ITAM for a healthcare client!

Initial 4-month contract with possibility of extension. 7.25 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Candidates with the ability to work hybrid in North York, ON will be prioritized however % remote options will be available.

As the successful candidate you will perform regular platform testing and module administration for various ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, ITAM including security administration, integration testing, and application upgrades as needed.

Responsibilities :

  • Document key technical decisions, issues, and enhancements
  • Design and develop interfaces between ServiceNOW and internal systems
  • Support the development lifecycle (Design, Develop, Test, Deploy & Maintain)
  • Develop changes on ServiceNow platform through scripting, configurations and other development activities
  • Establish a technical project plan with key milestones and providing status updates
  • Prioritize functional and technical requirements
  • Participate in business process redesign workshops and providing technical feasibility assessments related to the ServiceNow platform
  • Work closely with and facilitate discussions with internal business clients to clarify requirements and convert them into technical and functional requirements
  • Report progress on development work and keep track of decisions, issues, enhancements through the entire development lifecycle
  • Assist in resolving technical issues
  • Work with the support team to ensure transition from development to operation

Must-have Skills

  • 3+ years of related ServiceNow administration and implementation experience supporting modules such as ITSM (IT Service Management) , ITOM (IT Operations Management) , and ITAM (IT Asset Management)
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and / or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) i n in one of the following : ITSM or ITOM.
  • Demonstrated experience administering a ServiceNow instance, managing the overall security of the platform, gathering and interpreting business requirements, developing workflows, business rules, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, and catalogue items.

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Experience with customization of ServiceNow, including proficiency in JavaScript, Custom Tables, HTML / CSS.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow application(s) with third party systems / applications via APIs.
  • Experience in Agile software development practices is an asset.
