Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a full-time and Part time (days only!) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) withone (1) full-time equivalent year of experienceto join the team in Wainwright, Alberta. The successful LPN provides services to patients on a walk-in and appointment basis in various primary and ambulatory care settings such as the Care Delivery Unit (CDU), treatment room, and specialty clinic.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful applicant will provide direct patient care under the direction of physicians, Registered Nurses, and / or other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to :

• COVID screening prior to patients entering the clinic;
• assistance with vaccinations;
• conducting patient history and physical assessments;
• performing selected diagnostic and therapeutic interventions; and
• counseling patients on preventive health care.

Job Qualification

The LPN shall possess, as a minimum,  one (1) full-time equivalent year of experience  within the last 3 years in nursing practice conducting patient assessments and providing direct nursing care for a broad range of diseases in the adult population in a primary care or ambulatory care setting.
