What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair commercial transport / transit vehicles using advanced diagnostic toolsPerform preventative maintenance and CVIP inspections (as qualified and authorized)Operate buses for testing and diagnostics as requiredMaintain accurate service records and support parts procurementCollaborate with fellow technicians and management to meet shop prioritiesMaintain a safe, clean, and organized workspaceMentor apprentices and support training and development initiativesWhat We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Journeyperson Commercial Transport Technician (Red Seal)OR
Automotive Service Technician ( AST) or Heavy Equipment Technician (HET ) Red Seal with demonstrated commercial / on-road fleet experience, air brake endorsement, and the ability to meet CVIP regulatory requirements (including inspection sign-off where applicable)OR4th-year registered Commercial Transport Technician apprentice close to ticket completionAir Brake endorsementDemonstrated competency in brakes, steering, suspension , and preventative maintenanceValid Class 5 driver’s license with air brake endorsement (maximum 3 demerits)Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and safety-first mindsetCVIP & Compliance
CVIP license preferredCandidates without CVIP may be considered if willing and eligible to obtain , or able to meet regulatory requirements under supervision during onboardingBonus Points
Transit, coach, or fleet maintenance experienceExperience with electronic work order / maintenance management systemsClass 1, 2, or 3 license with air endorsementSchedule & Work Hours
Full‑time, 40 hours per week; exact schedule to be finalized with the teamFlexibility required to support operational coverage Example current coverage : one shift runs Monday–Friday (approx. 8 : 00–16 : 30) and another Tuesday–Saturday (approx. 7 : 00–15 : 30)
Anticipated requirement : ability to work one weekend day as part of the schedule / rotation
We may consider 4x10‑hour shifts (four 10‑hour days) subject to operational needs
