As a Senior Security Analyst, you will support the Director, Information Security with ensuring the security of our organization's information systems and data.

You will be required to effectively translate our security objectives and risk management strategies into security processes enabled by technologies and services.

You will also support operation of the security systems and risk management processes that are in place, as well as providing support for the triage, investigation, and remediation of information security incidents.

Expected Compensation : The expected hiring range for this role is $91,200 - $114,000, with a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity.

Why we'll love You :

  • You have strong technical knowledge of both Windows on-premises and Azure cloud environments backed by a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience working in an IT Infrastructure or Information Security role
  • You are experienced in the use of application and infrastructure security solutions such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, Managed Detection and Response platforms (MDR) and Identity and Access Management systems to identify and investigate threats and respond to incidents
  • You have an excellent knowledge of information security standards / practices (e.g., NIST CSF, NIST 800 : 53, CIS, OWASP, PCI DSS, etc.

and aspects related to data protection

  • You understand development methodologies relative to secure code creation, and how to protect and defend against threats to web applications
  • You have experience with secure design and project risk assessments for cloud and on-prem environments including SaaS solutions
  • You are experienced in providing security recommendations by assessing and analyzing application security testing outcomes
  • You are highly organized; you have no issues managing your time and prioritizing tasks according to importance
  • You have solid communication skills and are able to liaise between technical and non-technical audiences
  • You possess an information security-related certification from a recognized issuing body (CEH, CISSP, CISM, etc.)

Once here, you'll :

  • Participate in the creation of enterprise security documentation (policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures)
  • Support validation of security controls through participation, planning and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential risks to the organization's information assets; develop and implement security strategies to mitigate identified risks
  • Configure, utilize and manage security tools such as firewalls, MDR and SIEM platforms; analyze security data and trends to identify and understand potential threats
  • Develop and implement incident response plans to minimize the impact of security incidents
  • Respond to security incidents, investigating and mitigating security breaches including outside of standard business hours when required
  • Design, implement, and maintain a security architecture process that allow Westland to easily integrate and safeguard new assets while aligning with business technology strategy
  • Be a member of a high performing team, collaborating closely with IT infrastructure, service desk and project teams in order to implement and maintain security measures·
