JOB SUMMARY :
The Apprentice Electrician reports to the Journeyman Electrician, to assist in the installation of electrical and underground utilities that includes installation of airfield electrical lighting and distribution systems as needed, as well as street lighting. The work takes place in outdoor environments around Edmonton.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to work up to 5-6 days a week, 8-10 hours a day.Aerial work using a bucket truck to exchange and rewire ballasts.Assist in the concrete pour in place foundation bases for street lighting.Assist with termination of panels for street lighting.Assist with troubleshooting and isolating circuits and cables.Build and install temporary power panels.Build and install various types of electrical cabinets.Installing electrical equipment on structures.Other duties as required.REQUIREMENTS
Valid Class 5 driver’s license required and reliable transportation.Must be an Indentured Electrical Apprentice - 3rd year.Must be able to lift 75 lbs.Be able to stand, kneel, crouch, bend and walk.Willing to work outdoors.#J-18808-Ljbffr
