We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Calgary or Edmonton based team.

About the Role :

Reporting to the Director of Finance the Financial Analyst will play a key role in weekly forecasting monthly reporting and annual budgeting across assigned entities. This role combines strong accounting expertise with the ability to present data and insights to stakeholders in a clear professional manner.

What Youll Do :

Prepare and post month-end journal entries

Manage fixed asset depreciation and prepaid amortization

Partner with Head Office on intercompany transactions

Produce financial and statistical reports via SharePoint

Collaborate with Operations to build weekly forecasts and annual budgets

Deliver ad hoc reports and analyses as needed

What You Bring :

Final stages of the CPA Program (required)

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (required)

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in MS Office

Strong knowledge of financial accounting reconciliations and analyses

Initiative critical thinking and excellent organizational skills

Confidence presenting financial data to management and stakeholders
