Senior Security Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a senior security engineer with 5+ years of hands on experience securing cloud-native, highly-scalable, high-concurrency systems. You will play a key role in driving a strong security culture. You will have ownership over core security technologies, and you will mature our security program from good to great! This role offers the opportunity to contribute in many aspect of cybersecurity and solve both interesting and challenging security problems and make a difference.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Harden cloud infrastructure and manage our security posture against current and emergent threats
• Partner with engineering / product teams to embed secure-by-design principles through the development cycle
• Own and evolve the security stack (SAST, SCA, Secrets scan, IAC scans, SIEM, EDR, IdP)
• Design high quality anomaly detection, alerts, and automation across the security tech stack
• Implement security features across the platform to ensure a safe and secure user experience
• Lead purple team exercises and vulnerability assessment to proactively identify risks
