Your opportunity

Dillons Project Admin Group is seeking a Project Administrator to fill an existing vacancy within our multidisciplinary team of professionals. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience. In this role you will be a welcome addition to our dynamic administrative team. As a Project Administrator you will showcase your financial organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced professional office environment. Your ability to create strong working relationships with technical project managers will elevate your and the companys collective success. Responsibilities

What your day will look like

Project Administration

Project Initiation and Planning

  • Support execution of agreements
  • Initiate projects in Dillons financial management system
  • Facilitate project plan completion and distribution to team
  • Support health and safety plan preparation and communication

Project Execution

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of documentation in accordance with Dillons quality management system
  • Undertake document management of pertinent project information
  • Provide enhanced and embedded project support to meet unique project requirements on an as required basis including administrative support and task coordination
  • Project Monitoring Controlling and Project Closing

  • Facilitate monthly invoicing
  • Financial monitoring budget analysis and data entries in Dillons financial management system
  • Support scope change development and addition to the financial management system
  • Liaise with Dillons finance department
  • Support project close-out
  • General Office Support

  • As part of a local administrative team assist with general office-related administrative activities as required and contribute to fulfill the variety of tasks necessary to run the office effectively

  • Qualifications

    What you will need to succeed

  • Minimum of two years administration related experience or demonstrated combination of education skills knowledge and experience
  • Prior experience in a project administration or project coordination role is considered an asset
  • Post-secondary education in a project management or an administration related program is considered an asset
  • Experience

  • Understanding of basic accounting principles terms and financial functions
  • Understanding of project management concepts
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite specifically Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail a high regard for accuracy and the ability to provide high quality outputs particularly in processing files and records with accuracy;
  • Excellent interpersonal organizational and communication (written / verbal) skills
  • A team player with the ability to multi-task; collaborates with others to promote understanding and provide necessary support
  • Experience in a Professional Services consulting firm (engineering / environmental / planning) is considered an asset
  • Compensation : $48000 - $72200

    Dillon is including the salary range that we in good faith believe may offer for this position. It will be dependent on the successful applicants education experience and skills in addition to internal equity and geographic region. Dillon reserves the right to pay outside of the posted range contingent on factors unrelated to an applicants gender or other status protected by provincial and / or federal law.
