Orthodontic Dental Assistant

We are looking for a Full-Time Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our office (on average 32-40 hrs/week). The successful applicant must be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, caring and a compassionate individual to connect with team members, parents and patients. It is also important that this person possesses a positive attitude with professional commitment and is friendly and out-going in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements:(The applicant must meet the following requirements)

• High School diploma
• Completion of an approved Dental Assistant program and certification as a Dental Assistant (RDA)
• Orthodontic module
• Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Must be computer proficient and learn new software easily (software used in our office are Dolphin and Curve)
• Excellent communication skills
• Availability to work during applicable business hours
• Ability to work well with children of all ages
• Proficient in English
• Willingness to be cross-trained between orthodontic and pediatric procedures
• Must be willing to travel between different office locations

Responsibilities and Duties

• Orthodontic assistant duties
• Pediatric Dentistry assistant duties (as needed)
• Sterilization and infection control

Qualifications and Skills

• RDA License
• Orthodontic Module
• Scaling Module (Preferably)
