The City of Iqaluit is committed to hiring summer students. We want to encourage students to continue learning and developing vital skills that will allow them to be successful in the workplace once they have completed their schooling.

The City of Iqaluit looks to offer meaningful work experience that allows students to earn valuable on-the-job training in the municipal government.

Various positions within City of Iqaluit departments are available.

• Proof of Enrollment for post-secondary students;

A completed Summer Student Application Form

Students between the ages of 15 and 30 years old who are currently enrolled in secondary or post-secondary are eligible.

Applications accepted starting now, and up until June 30th, 2024. Start your summer job as soon as May 2024.
