Interim Director of Finance

Our not-for-profit client is seeking an experienced Director Finance to support them with a number of key initiatives. This role will start out on a 9-month contract basis with potential for extension.

Reporting directly to the CEO your responsibilities will include:

- Forecasting/budgeting/variance analysis

- Oversee and validate cheque runs and payroll

- Regulatory reporting

- Reporting on grants and assisting with grant applications

- Managing the treasury function

- Overseeing/mentoring/managing staff

- Review Chart of Accounts

- Financial systems review

- Launch an expense management system

Job Requirements:

To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated Director of Finance (CPA or equivalent), with 5+ years of financial reporting and leadership work experience. You are comfortable managing relationship with both internal and external stakeholders

In addition to the above, the following skills are also desired:

- Supervisory experience

- At least 5 years of public sector work experience in a senior leadership capacity

- Solid communication to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
