We are seeking a Process Development Technician, Biologics in our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia facility. In this role, you will operate and maintain fermentation and purification equipment in process development laboratories, assisting scientists during hands‑on process development activities that advance innovative biopharmaceutical programs. The position may also involve supporting GMP cell banking and pilot plant work activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Twelve‑hour rotating shifts – days and nights.
• Operate laboratory process equipment under supervision, following work instructions and SOPs.
• Collect, label, and test experimental samples according to work instructions.
• Monitor experiments, identify issues, and support troubleshooting.
• Ensure correct labeling of reagents and instrumentation in the PD laboratory.
• Review work instructions and assist in writing SOPs and data entry.
• Clean and organize equipment and work area; support 5S, inventory, calibration, and maintenance.
• Assist in the preparation, testing, and maintenance of cell banks, including occasional cleaning in a GMP environment.
• Assist scientists and manufacturing in supporting pilot plant operations when required.
• Comply with approved safety practices for the laboratory facility.
• Assist in troubleshooting ongoing experiments to resolve unexpected challenges.

This job has a full‑time weekly schedule.

The full‑time equivalent pay range is $16.79 – $29.39 / hr CAD, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.
