Langley Advance Times Multimedia Sales Representative

We are looking for an experienced and diligent sales executive to join our team. Due to the upcoming retirement of our long-standing employee, we are seeking a motivated individual to take over this essential sales role and continue our tradition of excellence.

Duties:

• Prospect and generate new business leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients to understand their advertising needs and provide effective solutions.
• Present and pitch advertising opportunities to clients, including print, digital, and social media platforms.
• Negotiate advertising rates and contracts with clients to maximize revenue and meet sales targets.
• Monitor and analyze advertising campaign performance, providing regular reports to clients and making recommendations for optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in advertising sales or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and build relationships.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced deadline oriented environment.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals and secure contracts.
• Familiarity with different advertising platforms, including print, digital, and social media.
• Work experience with Mac’s including Word & Excel a must. An asset if you have utilized a CRM system
• Organized, Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive sales environment.

Expected Annual Wage: CA$70,000.00-CA$75,000.00 per year
