Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at Bruce Collision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our accounts receivables, ensuring accurate, timely processing of customer invoices and payments, answering phones and aiding customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a undersntanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare, generate, and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and track customer accounts to ensure payments are received on time.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Communicate with customers regarding payment discrepancies and outstanding balances.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements related to accounts receivable.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and service, to resolve any billing issues.
  • Follow up on delinquent accounts and work with customers to arrange payment plans if necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications :

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, accounts receivable or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
