Compensation

This position is hourly , and the starting pay rate is $24.65 / hour with eligibility for a afternoon shift premium of $1.50 / hr where applicable (DC roles only), and eligibility for an incentive target of $1,200 which is contingent upon achieving both individual and company performance objectives. The pay range above is not a guarantee of compensation but reflects the potential total compensation for this role at the time of this posting based on the assigned job grade. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as geographic work location, relevant experience and individual skills. The stated range is a reasonable estimate and may change over time; final compensation may fall above or below the range provided. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or discontinue its compensation and benefits programs at any time, in accordance with applicable law.

Position Summary

We’re hiring warehouse associates across multiple shifts with full-time positions available!

You’ll report to a DC Supervisor or Process Manager and have regular interaction with other team members.

Job Responsibilities (You Will)

• Safely and accurately complete warehouse tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, sorting, labeling, putaway, replenishing, auditing, picking and packing products using industrial machines.
• Operate wrist-worn or hand-held scanning equipment to accurately fulfill customer orders for shipping.
• Resolve exceptions in order fulfillment due to stock discrepancies, order processing errors, damaged products, carrier changes, etc.
• Follow lock out and tag out procedures for powered industrial equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and hazardous material requirements.
• Work collaboratively and assist other teams to meet safety, quality, productivity, behaviour, attendance, and overtime requirements.
• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership, including all functions of a DCA II.
