Inside Sales Representative

About the Role

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This position is designed to build a strong foundation in operations before transitioning into a technical sales support role. The successful candidate will start in Shipping & Receiving and yard operations (for the first 5-6 months) to gain hands-on experience with our products, warehouse processes, and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in shipping, receiving, yard work, and general warehouse duties

  Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (training provided)

  Pick, pack, load, and unload products accurately and safely

  Support inventory handling, product staging, and warehouse organization

  Provide technical support to customers and process customer orders

  Prepare quotations, bids, and customer correspondence

  Work with the Outside Sales team to support and grow customer accounts

  Assist with general sales, marketing, and administrative tasks as required

Who We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1+ years’ experience in wholesale distribution
• A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Had success working in a fast-paced environment; ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Organizational skills, communication skills and attention to detail
• The skills to use of a variety of technology and new computer applications
• The ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
• A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
• The ability to work in inclement weather as required
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• A strong commitment to health and safety
