Plant Apprentice Technicians

Layfield is looking to add Plant Apprentice Technicians to our Fabrication team. The Plant Apprentice Technicians are key production personnel and are responsible for the proper set-up and operation of equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with basic hand tools, previous forklift experience and a wiliness to learn.

This position is based out of the Edmonton facility and will report directly to the Shift Lead Hand and indirectly to the Production Supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Safety :

• Understand, support, and adhere to the companys health and safety policies, programs, and procedures.
• Attend and participate in safety meetings.
• Complete risk assessment forms.
• Report any equipment or building damage to supervisors and / or safety team.
