Mobile manual tester

Job Description

As a mobile manual tester, you will validate mobile applications (iOS / Android) for functionality, usability, and performance to ensure a high-quality user experience. Key responsibilities include creating / executing test cases, bug tracking via Jira, performing regression tests, and testing across real devices or simulators. You will work closely with developers to analyze requirements and report defects.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Execution : Execute manual test cases for functional, usability, regression, and UI testing on Android and iOS devices.
• Bug Reporting & Tracking : Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, including steps to reproduce, screenshots, and logs.
• Environment Setup : Set up and manage test environments, including simulators, emulators, and physical devices.
• Documentation : Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test reports based on requirements and user stories.
• Collaboration : Work with developers, product managers, and UI / UX designers to understand requirements and verify fixes.
• Performance & Network Testing : Test app performance under various network conditions and monitor resource usage.
