Manager, Software Engineering Cloud Governance Platform

About the role : Samsara is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Governance Platform team. This team is responsible for building the foundational platforms that enforce governance identity security compliance and software supply-chain protections across all of Samsaras cloud infrastructure and developer environments.

Rather than relying on manual reviews or policy enforcement this team delivers secure compliant-by-default systems through cloud IAM guardrails automated controls and scalable platform abstractions across AWS and GCP.

This role combines deep technical leadership cloud and IAM security expertise and people management to shape Samsaras cloud security and compliance posture as we scale our global platform supporting millions of connected devices.

As a manager you will guide a globally distributed team of senior platform engineers own high-impact infrastructure with broad organizational reach and partner closely with Infrastructure Security Compliance and Product Engineering leadership.

This is a remote position open to candidates based in Canada.
