Popeyes serves bold Louisiana-style chicken made fresh every day. We're hiring hard-working Cooks to join our kitchen team. No experience? No problem. We'll train you.

Responsibilities:

• Marinate, bread, fry and package chicken and menu items following Popeyes recipes and standards.
• Run the fryers and keep up with order volume during rushes.
• Check food quality, hold times and temperatures so everything is fresh and safe.
• Follow food safety, handling and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Prep ingredients and sides before and during shifts.
• Keep your station, fryers, equipment and kitchen clean.
• Unload deliveries and stock the walk-in, freezer and dry storage.
• Wash dishes and complete opening/closing duties.
• Communicate with front counter staff to keep orders accurate and on time.
• Help out at other stations when needed.

Requirements:

• No experience needed, we'll train you (kitchen or fast food experience is an asset).
• Food Handler Certificate is an asset.
• Able to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen.
• Able to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and food safety.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Available evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
