Popeyes Cashier/Cook

Crew Member / Cook – Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.

Full-time / Part-time.

About Us:

Popeyes serves up bold Louisiana-style chicken and great guest service. We're hiring friendly, hard-working Crew Members and Cooks to join our team. No experience? No problem, we'll train you.

Crew Member Responsibilities (Front of House):

• Greet guests and take orders at the counter and drive-thru.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash and card payments accurately.
• Pack orders correctly and quickly.
• Keep the dining room, washrooms and front counter clean and stocked.
• Answer guest questions and help with menu choices.

Cook Responsibilities (Back of House):

• Prepare, bread, fry and package food following Popeyes recipes and standards.
• Check food quality and temperatures so everything is fresh and safe.
• Follow food safety, handling and sanitation procedures.
• Keep your station, equipment and kitchen clean.
• Unload deliveries and stock inventory.
• Wash dishes and help with closing duties.

Everyone:

• Work as a team and help out at other stations when needed.
• Show up on time for scheduled shifts.
• Follow health and safety rules.

Requirements:

• No experience needed, we'll train you (fast food/kitchen experience is an asset).
• Food Handler Certificate is an asset.
• Friendly, positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for long periods, bend and lift supplies.
• Available evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
