Business Analyst - Healthcare

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst will support the transformation of healthcare delivery in Manitoba by leveraging information and communication technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the provincial health sector. This role involves close collaboration with clinical stakeholders to analyze, document, and improve business processes and systems within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clinical stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Map existing business processes and identify capability gaps.
• Support change management activities including stakeholder analysis and site readiness assessments.
• Coordinate project implementations, manage timelines, and develop project plans.
• Develop and deliver training and promotional materials to facilitate adoption of new systems.
• Assist in the implementation or upgrade of clinical applications such as the Altera Sunrise suite.

Required Skills:

• Diploma or Certification in Business Analysis.
• Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification.
• Valid Prosci change management certification.
• Extensive experience working with clinical stakeholders in healthcare settings.
• Strong documentation, process mapping, and requirements gathering skills.
• Proven experience in project coordination and change management within healthcare.

Desired Skills:

• Experience implementing or upgrading the Altera Sunrise suite of clinical applications.
• Experience developing and delivering training to clinical staff.
• Ability to create targeted promotional and communication materials for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
