Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Installation Technician to join our clients dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various automotive components and accessories with precision and professionalism.

Location: Langley, BC

Pay: $36.00/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality and standards are met by following opening and closing checklists.
  • First point of contact for customers, providing product knowledge and assistance through face to face, phone and email communication. Meet customer expectations on a daily basis.
  • High efficiency and accuracy while selling and ordering product, creating PO’s and handling all required paperwork, monitoring open orders and deposits.
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures to ensure all product leaving the store has been paid for and invoiced via POS.
  • Maintain showroom cleanliness and ensure display product is merchandised correctly and backfilling sold product as necessary.
  • Assembly and installation of a variety of accessories and components.
  • Perform tire removal/installation/repair service safely for trucks, suv’s and work vehicles.
  • Complete assembly work in a timely manner, meeting time estimates and customer expectations. Ensure services and installation actions are properly documented by completing forms, reports, logs and records accurately and timely.
  • Review all work orders, interacting with the Manager to discuss any upgrades and additional sales to each vehicle entering the shop.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace, complying with company policies. All shop tools and equipment returned to proper location after use.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience with truck parts assembly and installations, rigging and fabrication of different products and systems preferred.
  • Physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout the workday.
  • Basic computer proficiency; experience with retail systems is a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong commitment to excellence in customer service. Knowledge of automative parts and services with willingness to grow through experience and training. High attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
