Accounting Clerk

AcuFast is looking for a keen individual who is thrilled to join us in creating the future of pork production. We empower our people by supporting and encouraging them to grow personally as well as professionally. We are currently looking for a permanent full-time Accounting Clerk for our Saskatoon Office. This position will report to the Assistant Finance Manager. This position will be responsible for the accounts receivable processes for AcuFast US.

This position will include the following responsibilities and day-to-day functions, but is not limited to:

• Invoicing customers regularly by calculating pricing as outlined in contracts, along with the aid of order forms and the sales team’s assistance.
• Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
• Investigating and resolving customer queries.
• Researching, understanding, and processing adjustments.
• Collaborating with the sales team and logistics staff for invoice pricing, quantities, and credits support.
• Compiling reports for management.
• Assist in the annual audit process and variance analysis.

The successful candidate would ideally possess the following experience and qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Accounting. Experience with complex pricing and creating invoices would be an asset.
• Knowledge of the agriculture industry would be considered an asset.
• Experience with accounting programs such as Great Plains would be considered an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Can successfully work independently and cross-functionally in an autonomous work environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail.
