Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time 37.5 hrs a week, either in a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.

Duration:

  • 12 Months: May 03, 2027 to April 21, 2028
  • 16 Months: May 03, 2027 to August 18, 2028

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
We are seeking highly motivated Analog & Mixed-Signal Engineering Interns/Co-ops to
join our engineering teams. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers
on the development, analysis, verification, testing, and automation of advanced analog
and mixed-signal technologies used in industry-leading semiconductor products. In this
role -

  • Support the design, analysis, verification, testing, and validation of analog and
    mixed-signal semiconductor technologies.
  • Use industry-standard EDA/CAD tools to analyze, optimize, and verify circuit and
    layout designs.
  • Develop and enhance software scripts, automation tools, and workflows using
    programming and scripting languages to improve engineering productivity and
    design quality.
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and present technical data, test results, and
    engineering findings.
  • Investigate technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with
    engineers to develop solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional and global engineering teams throughout the
    product development lifecycle

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical
    Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field at a Canadian university.
  • Strong interest or exposure with analog, mixed-signal, semiconductor, or
    integrated circuit design.
  • Fundamental understanding of electronics, including transistors, resistors,
    capacitors, logic gates, and circuit analysis concepts.
  • Familiarity or exposure or understanding ofSemiconductor devices, microelectronics, or VLSI design.Transistor-level circuit analysis and layout.Programming or scripting in Python, C, C++, Perl, Tcl, SKILL, Shell
    scripting, or similar languages.Laboratory testing and characterization using oscilloscopes, network
    analyzers, spectrum analyzers, function generators, or related equipment.Software development, automation, and data analysis
