Job Summary
Under the guidance of the E/EiR Program Manager, the E/EiR Coordinator supports the coordination, delivering, and evaluating the E/EiR program throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is based at UBC Okanagan campus in Kelowna and requires attending to the weekly E/EiR sessions, including responding to bookings, real-time needs, and professionally conducting themselves as they interact with the engineers and entrepreneurs who participate in the E/EiR program.
Work Performed
Coordinate the scheduling of weekly E/EiR sessions with engineers/entrepreneurs, making sure the booked space is available and appropriate to welcome them.
Managing the flow of sign-ups, being respectful and courteous to professionals and students alike.
Ensure all registered attendees are present and complete evaluations and reporting in a timely manner following each session
Perform other duties as assigned
Consequence of Error/Judgement
This position is responsible for interacting with working engineers and entrepreneurs. Errors could result in direct damage to credibility and the institution’s reputation.

Strong organizational, time management, punctuality and self-directed work skills
Excellent professionalism and customer-service skills
Experience in project or program coordination is an asset
Willingness to respect diverse perspectives, including perspectives in conflict with one’s own
Demonstrate a commitment to enhancing one’s own awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion
